Sax vs. F Horn

Sat Mar 17, 2007, 1:45 PM
So my friend and I play the french horn part for our band compositions on our saxophones. Which is nice because most of the pieces we play have a bajillion horn solos in them, and while they probably sound more mellow on a horn it's a lot easier to play passionately on the sax (for me). However, when one of these solos is in a ballad (Ammerland) and is 15 measures long and you happen to be incapable of getting your D in tune, you kinda want to hit some one. Especially when you have to play it for your Large Group Performance Evaluation. :stupidme:
It's cool though, my sax stopped playing right before the section with all of the D's in the solo for the concert, and by the time I fixed my reed so it would play again, that section was over. :D
By the way, for all you horn players out there Fate of the Gods owns for horn solos, it's not really hard I think it's a level five, but it is so freaking fun to play.
Anywho, We got superior ratings so I'm happy. :)

Thank you for the fav on the F1 cars, it is kind of odd to find a girl who is knowledgeable about the world of F1.

no problem, it's a great picture.

We bought direct TV so we didn't miss it. This season is looking good for the BMWs.
